AboutFuzion Frenzy 2 is a multiplayer party game for the Xbox 360. It is the sequel to the original Fuzion Frenzy, which was a launch title for the original Xbox. Like its predecessor, Fuzion Frenzy 2 is a multiplayer game in which players choose colorful characters and compete to win a tournament made up of various mini-games. All six of the original characters - Dub, Geena, Jet, Naomi, Samson, and Zak - make their return, although in most cases with new and different character designs. Up to four players can play, with any positions not filled by humans occupied by computer-controlled opponents of configurable difficulty levels.Download LinkHow To Use.

No protection plan +$0.00 1-Year Plan +$2.00 Obligor: All obligations under this Plan are the responsibility of GameStop, Inc. Fuzion Frenzy 2 is a disapointing follow-up to a great game. I don't like the characters they are really annoying, and always repeat the same.
Fuzion Frenzy 2 ReviewForward Notes:I picked this game up in a charity bundle along with Cars and Sonic if I remember correctly for a cool $20. I had played the first one extensively, as many others had, on my Halo disc under the demos section. I had thought it was fun, though not fun enough to convince me to purchase it, but fun nonetheless.
Let’s get to the review!Single Player:If you played Fuzion Frenzy 1, the game plays in a lot of similar ways – but that isn’t to say it’s good. I’m going to explain the game with the assumption that you haven’t. The game is basically a capitalization on the mini-game party genre that Mario Party originally made so famous that has been used by other games including Viva Pinata Party Animals, Monkey Ball, and others. Usually these games require a delicate balance between difficulty and simplicity, and are usually significantly more fun with other human players to compete against. However, if you don’t have any friends (aww), you can load up a game, choose your character, and play against three other computer players. You can customize their difficulty (I almost always played on easy).
The game then loads, and some cutscenes occur and what not that I’ll get to later in the review. In the end someone will choose what world you are going to play on, which basically lays the foundation for what type of mini-games will be available (Water world has, you guessed it, water based mini-games). Once on that world the players will compete in a sequence of mini-games to try to get the most victory points. Once those games are complete the world will be “awarded” to someone. Based on your pre-chosen settings will determine how many worlds you need to conquer in order to win the game (two I think is the minimum). The game tries to “shake things up” by giving away items that you can choose before each mini-game. These include such “crazy” things as multiplying the points that everyone receives at the end of the mini-game by two! Depending on your place in the mini-game will dictate how many points you get if you didn’t catch that.
The person that won the last mini-game usually gets to choose the next mini-game, but you often can’t replay the same game again. So far I haven’t made the game sound that bad in an effort to remain at least a little unbiased. But now that changes. Like I previously said, mini-game based games require a very delicate balance between difficulty and simplicity, and very few of these games make that a reality. Although you are given some instructions before each mini-game, it’s still rather vague a lot of the time, which will lead to significant confusion. When it isn’t too complex the mini-game is too easy and you’ll win by an overly large amount. The game also requires you to conquer a minimum of two worlds, and considering each world, I think, requires at least three mini-games, that means a minimum of six mini-games.
The game also throws in “bonus” mini-games in which each player tries to grab a bonus item that I described earlier, and I think there is a minimum of one of these per world. All of this together will mean at least thirty minutes of gameplay to complete the game, not even counting loading screens and reading instructions, something that I at least became capable of skipping over at times. The mini-games themselves I found largely uninteresting and generic, and basically a manipulation of the game’s brand name.Single Player Score: 4/10Multiplayer:Now the game is significantly better when you are playing with human players since there is a little more “drive” to do well in the game. You can talk smack to your friends, taunt them, and in general annoy them.
This also means that there are less computer players to either lose to you badly or destroy you seemingly relentlessly. The players that aren’t controlled by humans will be covered by the computer.

You can play either on or offline, which is nice at least. But, in the end, the game is just as crappy as it was before, it’s just a little more interactive now.Multiplayer Score: 5/10DLC/Graphics/Sound/Intangibles:Oh don’t even get me started on this category. Your host is possibly the most obnoxious character that I’ve ever listened to/seen. Not only is his dialogue lame, but it’s excessively long and repetitive, and almost everytime you play you’ll be hearing the same thing. He has that voice that is overly-excited in a high-pitched way – the kind of voice that you’d use to make fun of people.
“Who knows what will happen next?!” becomes the most annoying phrase you’ve ever heard. The visuals are probably better representative of the capability of a PS2.Granted, I don’t want the graphics to detract from the mini-games purpose, but there has to be at least some kind of attempt. Many things looked pixilated, even on a high definition television.
The host’s lips, although they moved, didn’t even attempt to match up with the words he said. I’m not saying that they missed it once every game – I’m saying they didn’t match up EVER. He would consistently stop talking before the audio was done / keep talking after the audio was over. In general the games graphics and sounds are extremely unpleasant. Intangibles and DLC are just plain not applicable in this game.DLC/Graphics/Sound/Intangibles Score: 2/10Achievements:If you haven’t realized yet from my review, I wasn’t much of a fan of this game.
The achievements make fun of that reality by forcing you to beat the game with each of the characters. Remember how I mentioned that, at the minimum, it takes around thirty minutes? Multiply that by the amount of characters you have and you get quite the grind. Right now I personally only have two of the achievements, but that’s because I played this game significantly on a friend’s account, so don’t worry, I have played the game significantly.
I’m going to finish it sooner or later this year, it’s just a daunting task.I finished this game last year. There are also some achievements that require you to play online via xbox live, which can be deterring to our silver member friends. It also means that you have to set up a boosting session or convince one of your lesser liked friends that this game is a good investment. Fourteen achievements is pretty low for this game, considering they could have done so much more in the mini-games, but I’m thankful they didn’t – I don’t want to play this game more than I have to.
That doesn’t mean I think the achievements are good however, but an “easy 1000” to those that are interested for the most part, and the TA score reflects that.Achievements Score: 4/10Total Score: 15/40 = 3.75/10 = 1.875/5Final Thoughts:I like a good party game as much as the next guy. I’m a relatively laid back gamer who doesn’t always enjoy the more demanding blockbusters that are more common out there. However, this game is an atrocity, in gameplay, graphics, sound, and achievements, and should be avoided by most gamers. There are always going to be the few exceptions who find this game good, and there is a time when I like it.
Take my recommendation – make it a drinking game – everytime the host says something that has already been said take a shot. You’ll be drunk in no timeThanks! INTRODUCTIONFuzion Frenzy 2 is a party game where you and up to three of your friends compete head to head for eternal glory. Well, maybe not eternal glory, but you get my meaning. There are various types of games that you can compete in such as: racing, elimination, button mashing, and more.SoundThe sound effects are as they should be. The only real major complaint I have on the sound department is the “host” of the tournaments. Most times his lips are nowhere near synced with the words he’s saying.
Not to mention, thoughout the tournaments, you have to listen to the same five or six dialogue scripts over and over again.RATING: 4/10GraphicsThe battle animations, much like the sound department, are pretty much on par with what you would expect from a game of this caliberwhich would be average. The cutscenes are decent looking, but lack in variance. In the end, the graphics are nothing that stand out above any other game in the party game genre.RATING: 4/10GameplayGameplay is very basic and extremely easy to learn. It’s pretty much “push this button to jump” and “that button to attack”. I think any child around the age of 5 could compete with the computer a.i.
And more than likely win. One thing I found increasingly frustrating is during online tournaments you’re unable to skip the cutscences with that annoying host. If you were able to skip them, it might had made the online experience a bit more enjoyable. Especialy considering you have to watch cutscences half of the time and play games the other half.RATING: 4/10Achievement DifficultyThere’s really not an achievement that can’t be obtained by an average gamer. The real difficulty lies in finding someone online playing the game the same time you are. Other than that, the single player achievements are a synch and should cause you no hassle at all.
The only thing is that you’ll get extremely bored by your second or third tournamentRating: 5/10Final ThoughtsFuzion frenzy 2 could’ve turned out a lot better than what it was. If you’re wanting a party game for older people, I’d suggest going to find something different such as Scene it. If you’re wanting this game for a bunch of kids, this could be a fairly reasonable choice. Fusion Frenzy 2 may be fun for you the first few times you play, but after a short while you’ll grow tired of it. This game has minimal replay value.FINAL RATING: 4.25/10. I never had the original xbox, and thus never played the original.
The girlfriend loved it, and I caught it online fairly cheap. The concept behind FF2 is mini-games, or more accurately, 40 of them. Each one can last from 5 seconds, to a couple of minutes. Each ones has 4 players - up to 4 humans with the rest being a member of the CPU fraternity - available in easy, normal, or hard mode (it would seem more apt to consider drunk, tipsy and sober).I had originally downloaded the demo on XBL, which came with 3 mini-games. It wasnt anything spectacular, but wasn't puke inducing either. If you have ever played Mario Party for the N64/GC, then FF2 is basically like that, but without the board game element. Your task in single player offline mode is to conquer two worlds worth of minigames against your opponents. Each world has upto 6 different mini-games, with points given for each round. After each round, a special 'power' up bonus is given, which becomes apparent in round four, where everyone has to beat the crap out of each other.
At the end of the four rounds, he/she who owns the most points, wins the planet, and picks the next planet. But here comes the twist! At points throughout the game, you are given cards that you can play prior to each minigame. These can vary between - score multipliers; card stealers; score dividers. Thus, you can come second in a minigame, steal the top players 6x multiplier card, and beat them thoroughly. Or, when you win and play a x6, someone else can swap it for a /6, giving you a measly 2 points. This is all well and good, but what does the game play like? Well, it is responsive to commands, and each of the scenery works well - wind, ice etc.
But after 10 or so minigames, you get bored. Whether on single player, or multiplayer.
If you play on easy, it's hard to lose - if you play on hard, it's difficult to win. If you try sand play online - well you cant really.
Because no-one is there. If you want to play online, you have to buddy up with someone.Next comes the achievements. Fairly easy, these are.
Complete the main story mode with each character is easy, if not repetitive. Play all the minigames at least once is straight forward. The ones that take any difficult may be the online ones. I had to head over to and leave a message on their forums for a friend request to help do it. Then online takes around 30 minutes.Hints for achievements: The more controllers you have, the easier it is.
Plug them all in, then when you play, select as many humans as possible. This goes for online too - if you and your friend both have 2 controllers, then both be humans (use the free one month XBL gold for it) to make winning online even easier.Longevity fairly short. Sound is repetative. Conclusion: Would have made a nice XBLA game. If you want the 1000GS from this, then rent it, or purchase it very cheap and re-sell.borandi(c) Author retains all rights and copyright.
Fuzion Frenzy 2 ReviewIntroductionOne of the main reasons I bought this game was the price. I thought colorful artwork on the cover stood out over all the other titles on the shelf. Not knowing anything about the game except the screen shots on the back covers, my first impression was that the game was Xbox 360 answer to the Mario Party series. So after playing the entire game here is my review.Game Play. 6/10The setting for the game is sometime in the future where contestants (players) battle each other for prizes. Up to four people can play the game at once. If there are not enough human players then computer controlled contestants step in.
The contestants battle little mini games for control of planets. Each planet has unique set mini games. The mini games vary between button mashing or puzzle solving.
There an initial set of mini games with plenty more that unlock over time. The overall game is setup so players don’t run into the same mini games too often.
While the game does has plenty of mini-games, I found that nearly all of the mini-games were short. Some of the really good one made you feel like that it was over way too soon and wanting to play it over again. After each round there is a recap of score with the master of ceremony handing out little boosters for extra points. The round winner gets to choose the mini-game for the following round. In the end, there is a little ceremony for the winner of the entire match.Graphics 6/10While the game is set in a futuristic environment, the bright areas and flashing lights makes the setting more of a disco era. Graphics seems very dated and makes it seem like a ported version with very little work done by the programmers. Most of the game looks very pixilated and the views for most of them are horrible.
The depth perception on some of the mini-games makes you wonder where you went wrong to lose the round.Sound and Music 6/10The sounds of matches the level of the graphics, while there are decent, it is nothing that will impress you. The one thing that will annoy you the most is the announcer. His voice will make you want to mute the periods of time he talks and does he talk. His voice reminds me of a combination of a used car salesman and a 60`s television game show host. The music is passable and can always be tuned down.DifficultyThere are three difficulty setting available for this game. The AI is rather predictable even on the hardest settings. Their movements can be anticipated and patterns emerge.
I find the harder challenge is human players giving the game much needed variation and difficulty.360 AchievementsThere are no glitched achievements for this game. The achievements are simple and can take a few hours to do. There are online achievements, even though they have to be ranked matches, not too many people play so it is easily boostable and easily done within one or two hours.SummaryWhile this is a party game it semi delivers quick entertainment for a small group of friends. While the game can be found at lost places for a low price, it can be costly to even play because if there are four players, the game requires four controllers to play. If you want a quick 1000 Gamer Score then this game falls under that category and once you do get that 1000, I highly doubt you will put this game back into you Xbox.
If you looking for a good party game there are plenty of other choices that you and your party will enjoy. This is my first review, so don't flame me.I am judging this game in aspects in which I think are suitable to fit this game, so don't rage.1.Graphics: I thought the graphics were decent for a game transferred over to x360. The characters mouths move as they talk and the way the details are in the mini games, eh.
Could have been better.2.Playability: When I first picked up this game, there was only one thought in my mind- instant 1000. I was terribly wrong. I ended up getting so bored at the pointless mini games, I had had to hook up 4 controllers because I was doing horrible. The mini games are fun, but after the first hour or so of playing this straight, you will want to stab yourself.
![Fusion Fusion](http://www.fwallpaper.net/wallpapers/thumbs1/F/U/Fuzion-Frenzy-2-Game.jpg)
Just, plain boring.3.Re-playability: After the first hour of playing this, it occurred to me I need a alternate game to fall back on because the mini games got very repetitive. I picked Modern Warfare 2. The majority of my 50+ hours playing this game was deciding whether to keep playing or to go own a kid in a 1v1 quick scope match.
After 1 character, you will not want to play this again, 5 more times.4.Online: When I got some boosting buddies, we got everything in a few hours. Thankfully I could sit there and talk to the people while one person was winning.
There was some trouble getting in a lobby, though. Sometimes, retards like to sit in a lobby, hoping for someone to join. That 'someone' was a randy bear and I did not appreciate him sitting there. I almost rage quit. With huge prize money and a chance to save the planet on the line, its your turn to appear on the worldwide hit TV sensation Fuzion Frenzy. Spanning seven planets across the galaxy, you compete in 40 different mini-games - from sports challenges to thrilling battles - in your quest to become the ultimate victor. Frenetic social entertainment with 40 different challenges on one disc.
Jump-in easy-to-play controls and fun filled game play reward all levels of gamer from the casual to the advanced player. Now on Xbox Live and packed with Xbox Live features such as head-to-head muliplayer, tournament customization and much, much more.Simple game to play but over all nothing specialyeah rightEasy boosting to get 1000 pts by using 4 controllersi bought it for £6 from GAME so £6= 1000pts. Its awful the instructions for the game are virtually none existant and the game itself really isnt worth buying even for a £5 The only advantage with this game is achievement boosting if you buy games for that.Ok there are 50+ games on this disc but most of these mini games just dont work there either bugged or you just cant work out what you are suppost to do in each of the mini games. Also the graphics on the game are not to good either. Im just glad i didnt spend more than £5 for this game otherwise i really would be dissapointed with this game.
